The right breathing methods can improve mood.
Relevant studies show that different breathing exercises such as cyclic sighing and box breathing can lower the respiratory rate, helping the body transition from tension to relaxation. They can also improve mood, enhance positive emotions, reduce negative emotions like anxiety, help people get rid of adverse psychological states, and achieve psychological regulation.
Why can cats heal us?
Psychology and physiology have proven that pet cats’ behaviors and interactions just meet our deep-seated needs for “comfort, relaxation and connection”: Stroking their soft fur and listening to their purrs can relax the body and regulate hormones, and occasional interactions can even break negative thoughts. MoYa, however, simulates breathing, makes purring sounds and hugs you actively, turning this cat-like healing into everyday companionship.
Why does hugging make people feel reassured?
The physical contact from a hug stimulates the brain to secrete oxytocin. This “bonding hormone” can lower cortisol levels associated with anxiety, and also makes people feel the sense of security of being accepted and protected, thus fostering a feeling of reassurance.
Structural Design
Huggable Arms: Made of flexible and ecofriendly material with a builtin inflation device. It automatically inflates and unfolds in- to a hugging curve upon touch induction, simulating the soft wrapping feel of a real hug.
Breathing Simulation Airbag: An intelligent airbag is built into the main body. It rises and falls regularly through slow inflation and deflation, accurately simulating the natural breathing rhythm. Combined with temperature feedback, it enhances the sense of security during companionship.
